【摘要】:1.1ThisspecificationcoversreinforcedconcretepipedesignedforspecificD-loadsandintendedtobeusedfortheconveyanceofsewage,industrialwastes,andstormwaterandfortheconstructionofculverts.1.2AcompletemetriccompaniontoSpecificationC655hasbeendevelopedx2014;SpecificationC655M;therefore,nometricequivalentsarepresentedinthisspecification.Note18212;Experiencehasshownthatthesuccessfulperformanceofthisproductdependsupontheproperselectionofthepipestrength,thetypeofbeddingandbackfill,thecarethattheinstallationconformstotheconstructionspecifications,andprovisionforadequateinspectionattheconstructionsite.Thisspecificationdoesnotincluderequirementsforbedding,backfill,therelationshipbetweenfieldloadconditionsandthestrengthdesignationofpipe,ordurabilityunderunusualenvironmentalconditions.Theserequirementsshouldbeincludedintheprojectspecification.
